I worked with Fathima (Razana) Muzni for approximately a year at Al Khaleej National School in Dubai. She was the team leader over 7 other teachers. As a team leader, Razana displayed exemplary skills in leadership and management. Razana ensured her team received all school updates and new procedures in a timely manner. Razana’s ten year experience as a teacher provided an excellent model to new teachers, such as myself. As a teacher, I developed my skill as an educator learning from Razana as team leader.
It is my pleasure to recommend Fathima Muzni and Fathima Irfan. I have known both of them for almost 9 years in my capacity as their line manager. I would rank both of them as one of our best teachers in Kindergarten. They distinguished themselves by their ongoing passion towards their students’ learning and continuous effort to strive for the best.
Razana Muzni has worked with our school as a KG team leader and has showed professionalism at all times. Her work as a team leader has been impeccable with timely submissions, meeting deadlines and consistent follow up to ensure smooth functioning of the department. She has always used the best and innovative teaching practices and has been our outstanding teacher.
Fazra Irfan has been a passionate and dedicated teacher who has always shown willingness to take up new and challenging assignments with enthusiasm. She is a driven, organized teacher who always works towards developing inspiring relationship with her students. Her consistent follow up with parents and students and her continuous passion to introduce new teaching strategies shows her dedication towards her profession.
They both will be tremendous assets to any school that they join in and they have my highest recommendation.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my daughter’s KG1 teacher, Mrs.Fathima Fazra, for her unwavering support, collegiality, and mentorship throughout the year. My deepest appreciation to you for continually conveying a spirit of excitement with regards to teaching, and convincingly expressing your devotion to education. You have created a lovely, fun, and friendly atmosphere for our little ones to gain knowledge while having a pleasant experience in their first year of school. You are an awesome teacher, and Roudha still speaks of you… You will forever be in our memories. Thank you.
It is my privilege to testify to the professional conduct and teaching abilities of Mrs Razana Muzni. I got to know Mrs Muzni when we worked together Al Khaleej National School Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. She is a teacher with years of experience in Early Childhood Education and I can confidently say that Mrs Muzni is one of the most committed and dedicated teachers I have ever met. She cares deeply about her students and always goes the extra mile when planning and delivering her lessons. She also ensures that the learning environment is inviting and always uses a positive approach with the children in her care. Mrs Muzni has amazing leadership skill and is a great role model and mentor to other teachers. One of her admirable quality is her ability to establish sound relationships, she always engages with students, parents and colleagues in a professional and positive manner.

Let love grow.. Happy 72nd Independence Day

We hit the news again.. The ‘ New Normal ‘ in Early Years Education.
A daunting task, unlike with older children who are capable of handling it independently. Preschool teachers will need to rely on parents to ensure that the learning they are providing is accessible and flown through at home. In conversation with the Director of Footsteps Preschool, Fazra Irfan on the effectiveness and success of their method of distance learning with preschoolers, here’s what she had to say. Read more

I was on the look out for a play based learning facility to enroll Ariella in and I was hunting for places that took in kids before 2 years as I wanted her to have that exposure before #2 came along. Here are a few reasons why I chose @footsteps_preschool .
-
-
-
-
-
- The facility has a low student to teacher ratio enabling each child to get individualized attention.
- It’s a stones throw away from our residence in Kohuwala meaning I could avoid morning traffic and not have to wake her up super early to be in school.
- It has a wide open space (something that Ella is used to) lots of toddler friendly toys, sensory activities and play based learning activities that are familiar to her. 4.They also promote independence as with the Montessori method which is also something that’s familiar to her.
- The teachers are kind and caring and give you a progress update of everything that happened during the day. (It helps if your paranoid like I am).
- We couldn’t have picked better in Colombo for our daughter and we are happy with our choice. Annnddddd we will wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone

Exclusively for Footsteps Preschool Parents.

Following the Government directive, we are happy to announce the commencement of the daycare from the 11th of January 2021.
Please note, as per the regulations imposed by the health department, we are allowed to accommodate only 50% capacity at a time. We have therefore limited the class size and divided our classes into 2 groups to attend the preschool every other day.

We are extremely privileged to be featured in the
March edition 2021. Our profound gratitude to everyone who were a part of it.
